Happy New Year to all the readers of UPH! I ended 2008 with a post about Marco Morales, and I guess it wouldn’t hurt to begin 2009 with another post about this hot hunk, don’t you agree? Marco Morales made a transition from being a model/singer to a daring actor in the film “Walang Kawala” where played second lead to the movie’s main stars Polo Ravales and Joseph Bitangcol. Now, the former SOP Showboy makes his debut as lead in the movie “Butas (Loophole)”.

In “Butas (Loophole)”, Marco plays the role of Virgo, a policeman who engages in a romantic liaison with Maya (Gwen Garci) who, in turn, is married to Jake (Allen Dizon). Upon catching his wife fooling around with the policeman, Jake kills the latter. Two versions of the incident, then, surface as to what really transpired that fateful night. The depiction of each version shows in graphic detail how Marco and Maya engaged in romantic interludes – these would definitely serve as a visual feast for the viewers (Visit the files section of our Yahoo! group to take a sneak peek of what you will see in the film).

“Butas (Loophole)” will have a special “director’s cut” screening at Cine Adarna (formerly UP Film Center) on January 12, 2009 at 7:30pm. Those who fail to see this run will have a chance to see the sanitized version of the film on selected theaters within Metro Manila starting January 15, 2009.
