2008 was a good year for Baron Geisler. His performance in the independent film, “Jay” earned the wild-child of the Philippine movies the Best Actor award in last year’s Cinemalaya Film Festival. This distinction got directors and producers to notice his acting prowess on screen. Following this, he has been flocked by projects on television (“Eva Fonda” and “Pieta”) and on the big screen (“Torotot” and “Baler”). And he does not disappoint those who trusted him with important roles by giving remarkable performances every acomplia online single time. Noticing his talent and effort to bring out his best in whatever he does, he was included in the 2008 Body issue of Metro Magazine which presented a shortlist of the hottest personalities and people to watch out for in Philippine showbiz this 2009. This year, a lot of projects awaits Baron. He is reportedly going to appear on a billboard for Jag Jeans. He is also slated to appear in a film about the Korean War, entitled “The Forgotten War”, which he topbills with Lance Raymundo and Yul Servo. But before that film hits theaters, Baron’s fans will see him in the most-awaited teleserye offering from ABS-CBN this 2009 – “Tayong Dalawa”. In the television series, he plays support to lead stars Jake Cuenca, Gerald Anderson and Kim Chiu as the leader of a criminal syndicate joined in by Gerald’s brother in the soap, Coco Martin. “Tayong Dalawa” starts airing this Monday, January 19, 2009 after “I Love Betty La Fea”. |
