After winning the first Pinoy Sole Survivor title of GMA7′s Survivor Philippines, JC Tiuseco has been getting the much needed public attention. At the onset, he only had guesting stints on the Kapuso network’s shows. massachusetts college of pharmacy and health science However, it seems that the GMA7 has bigger plans for this former San Sebastian Golden Stags cager as he was recently included as one of the hosts of “Unang Hirit”, the network’s morning show. Apparently, he has abandoned all plans of playing in the basketball big league and has set his sights for a career in showbiz.

In an interview, JC declares that it is the dream of most collegiate cagers to become part of the Philippine Basketball Association, however, not everyone is cut out for it. He admitted that, at this point, it is getting more difficult to get into the professional league as it prefers Filipino-American players rather than homegrown talents. Although he has completely set aside a probable career in playing professional basketball, his love for the sport has not and will never wane, he adds.

For JC Tiuseco fans, expect to see him in GMA7′s upcoming soap operas after he finishes his acting workshops. He is also set to appear on billboards for Penshoppe as he was recently signed in by the clothing brand as one of its newest endorsers. In the mean time, you may catch JC every Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in GMA7′s “Unang Hirit”.
