Blind items from several showbiz columns earlier mentioned that the manager of a popular young Kapuso star has been in talks with the Kapamilya network for a possible network transfer. According to sources, the young actor already has several shows lined up once his move is finalized. Initially, he is to be paired with Judy Ann Santos in the latter’s upcoming teleserye, “Habang May Buhay”; afterwhich he is reportedly set to be paired with the Kapamilya network’s long list of leading leadies. Late last week, the young actor has been named – and he is no other than JC de Vera.

JC de Vera, in a recent interview neither confirms nor denies this rumor. However, he admits that if his manager indeed has a plan of plucking him out of his home network to put him in the rival station, he would be disappointed. Nevertheless, he would abide by his manager’s decision as he places his complete trust on his manager. It may be noted that after his successful team up with Rhian Ramos in the recently concluded Philippine adaptation of the worldwide television hit “Lalola” in GMA7, JC de Vera has yet to be assigned a project by his home network. JC’s contract with the Kapuso network expires in March 2009.
