Half-Filipino model Edouard George showed a lot of promise at the onset of his career. After getting discovered while vacationing in Boracay with his family, he immediately booked commercial and ramp assignments. He was one of the models who took centerstage at the Bench Denim and Underwear show held last year, Experience Blackout, and was one of the featured hunks in Cosmopolitan Magazine’s 69 Most Eligible Bachelors in 2008. His face also graced ads for San Remo and F101 catalog. When I did the shoot with him last year, his manager said that Edouard was shortlisted for a role in a soap opera – apparently, he did not end up getting the part. What pushed through among his manager’s other plans for him, however, was that of including him in Subic’s biggest modeling search, Istilo Modelo. The Filipino-Swiss charmer took home the third runner up prize in the competition. Recently, sources announced that Edouard is joining the bold bandwagon as he becomes part of the Cappuccinos. The addition of Edouard and former Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus housemate Jolas Paguia makes the Cappuccinos a ten-member sexy group. It was formerly comprised of the eight-man team of Dennis Torres, Ryan Dungo, Erie Obsena, Genesis “Gino” Cabrillas, Adrian Campos, Anton Vincent Malco, Rod Ortiz and Christian Cayabyab. The inclusion of the two new members is expected to bring in followers from diverse persuasions to the group’s fanbase. |
