He sprang into nationwide consciousness via the “mag-Coke lang syempre” television commercial where he played one of the leads. The TVC for the campaign ran during the latter part of 2008 to early 2009. While still in school in Nevada, Andre had the opportunity to hone his skills in various music, art and athletic disciplines; and was considered a genius at those. He was trained in the violin for 7 years, guitar and piano for 5 years. He, likewise, got involved in genres of dance which are at the opposite sides of the spectrum – hip-hop and ballroom. Apart from being into music and dance, Andre was also into sports – he was a varsity tennis player and a swimmer. Upon finishing highschool, he came back to Manila to pursue a career in modeling. At the onset, he was not that interested in the business; and that it was his father who convinced him to try his luck in it. However, after getting several callbacks from model castings, and after experiencing modeling first hand, he got the hang of it and realized that it was a career which he could get used to. He first got a taste of modeling in the Philippines when he joined the Search for Runway Royalties at the Dolce Superclub where he was awarded Mr. Runway 2008, Mr. Artistic, Mr. Cocktail and Mr. Swimwear. Following this brief exposure on the ramp, he set his eyes for the Folded and Hung Streetcast 2 go see where he got an immediate callback. He became one of the frontrunners in the fashion show. He, then, modeled for the Grand Bridal Shower Fashion Show, the Mossimo Intensity10 Fashion Show and the Philippines’ First Model’s Weekend. At present, Andre is one of the ten male contestants vying for the top spot at the Mossimo Bikini Summit 2009. If he wins, he will be Mossimo’s male model ambassador for the year and will take home P100,000 in cash and other prizes. Mossimo Bikini Summit 2009 will be held at the Skydome in SM North EDSA on May 23, 2009 at 8pm. Admission is FREE. |

it’s upseting dat Andre didn’t get a spot at Mossimo. First, he is,if not the youngest of all the contestant, also the better looking and the coolest of all. Well spoken and can deliver himself really well. He is an all around clown of the group and he’s also the smartest and most talented. I was there since day one, a big admirer of Mossimo, but this time i’m upset and probably wouldn’t care for the next one. I really don’t know their creteria for judging, but I think right from the start they already have a winner in mind. This is outrageous and a waste of time for the others. C’mon, the only one that looks better among the winners is Angelo (although not so smart and can speak english well). Jiro doesn’t have the right body and attitude to win.
Both Mark and Jiro looks really boring from day one while someone like ANDRE ENDIQUE with the sweetest smile and bubly personality, didn’t get a spot?!!! I am disgusted with the kind of politics going on at Mossimo. I’m sorry but this is my own opinion and i’m not dumb not to notice the stupidity of those people who manipulated this so called competition. Also if this is just a ” BIKINI ” competition, them why bother with the other stuff and just get on with it. Jiro can’t even answer the question right and answering in tagalog to an english question and that’s okay?
well, someone should have notice that cause everyone that’s not on the panel of judges has. I just wish they have some kind of recognition to someone like Andre for being there, The spokeperson and doing all the hosting helping promote Mossimo etc… he is a lost to Mossimo. More power to you Andre and may you have the best of luck. we love you!!!!!!

I agree that Andre should be one of the top three with Angelo. The other two are not deserving. Dex and Pelayo are better than the winner and mark manicad
