18-year old Andre Alejandro Endique is a commercial and ramp model originally from Las Vegas, Nevada. He sprang into nationwide consciousness via the “mag-Coke lang syempre” television commercial where he played one of the leads. The TVC for the campaign ran during the latter part of 2008 to early 2009.

While still in school in Nevada, Andre had the opportunity to hone his skills in various music, art and athletic disciplines; and was considered a genius at those. He was trained in the violin for 7 years, guitar and piano for 5 years. He, likewise, got involved in genres of dance which are at the opposite sides of the spectrum – hip-hop and ballroom. Apart from being into music and dance, Andre was also into sports – he was a varsity tennis player and a swimmer.

Upon finishing highschool, he came back to Manila to pursue a career in modeling. At the onset, he was not that interested in the business; and that it was his father who convinced him to try his luck in it. However, after getting several callbacks from model castings, and after experiencing modeling first hand, he got the hang of it and realized that it was a career which he could get used to.

He first got a taste of modeling in the Philippines when he joined the Search for Runway Royalties at the Dolce Superclub where he was awarded Mr. Runway 2008, Mr. Artistic, Mr. Cocktail and Mr. Swimwear. Following this brief exposure on the ramp, he set his eyes for the Folded and Hung Streetcast 2 go see where he got an immediate callback. He became one of the frontrunners in the fashion show. He, then, modeled for  the Grand Bridal Shower Fashion Show, the Mossimo Intensity10 Fashion Show and the Philippines’ First Model’s Weekend.

At present, Andre is one of the  ten male contestants vying for the top spot at the Mossimo Bikini Summit 2009. If he wins, he will be Mossimo’s male model ambassador for the year and will take home P100,000 in cash and other prizes.

Mossimo Bikini Summit 2009 will be held at the Skydome in SM North EDSA on May 23, 2009 at 8pm. Admission is FREE.
