Aljur Abrenica on getting what he has been wanting all his life

Finally, Aljur Abrenica (who has, since being declared as Starstruck 4’s Ultimate Hunk, developed the body to live up to the title he received) has gotten the one thing he has been aspiring for since becoming an actor – to land a lead role in a soap. Come June 29, we will be seeing this young hunk together with current onscreen partner Kris Bernal on primetime as they topbill GMA7’s newest soap opera offering entitled “All My Life”. This big career leap for Aljur was brought about by the resounding success of their loveteam’s recently concluded afternoon soap “Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin?” which consistently garnered high ratings in its timeslot. It seems that the Kapuso network has found a team up which could give rival station ABS-CBN’s Kim Chiu-Gerald Anderson tandem a run for their money. This acting vehicle could be the start of the this multi-talented actor’s rise to stardom. “All My Life” premieres this Monday, June 29, 2009 as the newest addition to GMA7’s Telebabad block. |
