While still in highschool in Xavier School, Nico was into singing and dancing, thus his entering Philippine showbiz is but a natural career progression. He first got into modeling and was then launched as a member of Star Magic Batch 16, ABS-CBN’s pool of homegrown talents. The lack of available acting opportunities in his home network, however, prodded him to accept work elsewhere.

During the third season of Lipgloss, Nico was added to the cast. His becoming a part of the show was a welcome move for its producers as the chinito hunk clearly helped the show ratings-wise. Nico’s unique appeal and charisma definitely helped boost his show’s ratings as his appearance in it is has become one of the most-awaited scenes in “Lipgloss”. “Lipgloss” can be seen on ABC5 at 5pm during Saturdays. Here’s to seeing more of Nico on the boob tube, on print and even on the big screen.
