Dingdong Dantes on his search for a lady love

| Even when his onscreen (and reportedly also off-screen) partner Marian Rivera has found a new leading man in the person of Mark Anthony Fernandez for her upcoming soap “Narda”, Dingdong Dantes has yet to find the actress who would play his love interest in the Philippine adaptation of the Koreanovela hit “Stairway To Heaven”. In the said series, Dingdong would play the role of Cholo (originally played by Kwon Sang-woo), however, GMA7 management has yet to tap a female lead best suited for the fragile Jodi (played by Choi Ji-woo in the Korean TV Series). Reportedly, among those being considered for the role are Jennylyn Mercado, Cristine Reyes, Nadine Samonte, Maxene Magalona and Angelica Panganiban.
When interviewed about this issue, Dingdong says that he still has no idea as to who would be paired with him for his latest teleserye project. He nevertheless places his trust on his home network’s management as to whomsoever it believes would be perfect for the role opposite his. While waiting for “Stairway To Heaven”, you may catch Dingdong’s latest CD/DVD project entitled the “Dingdong Dantes Experience” released through Universal Records.
