|
Marvin Kiefer is an 18-year old model and TV host who was born in Switzerland and raised in Cagayan de Oro City. He is the younger brother of male model Raphael Kiefer. After finishing highschool, he decided to move to Manila to follow his older brother’s footsteps; however, upon realizing that he has a lot more potential, he chose to explore the other aspects of the entertainment industry. He underwent an acting workshop with ABS-CBN for eight months afterwhich he was cast in a bit part in the Rufa Mae Quinto-led film, “Civil Status: Single” and a major role in “Magkaibigan” which had Sen. Jinggoy Estrada as its lead. Following these exposures as well as his appearance in the QTV 11 show, “Hired”, he was tapped to be one of the hosts for the youth magazine show, “Flo” which aired on TV5. The show tackled teen issues involving problems with school, family, the society and others. It also featured the latest hangouts, online games and outdoor activities for teens in the Metro. The articulate Marvin, who speaks Filipino, English, Bisaya and a bit of German, was perfect for the show. His witty delivery of spiels and spontaneity made their features interesting to watch. Aside from modeling, acting and hosting, Marvin is also into jiujitsu, skateboarding, rowing, trekking and backpacking. His interest for outdoor activities and new adventures led him to try out for the latest season of Survivor Philippines. Fortunately, he was chosen as one of the 8 male castaways together with Sadatsugu Suzuki, Shaun Rodriguez, Vlad Nesas, Cris “Jumbo” Bolado, Troy Perez, Louie Ang and Charles Fernandez. Will Marvin take home the P3-million cash prize and the chance to become one of GMA7′s contract stars upon being declared the second Pinoy Sole Survivor?
