| A few days ago, GMA7, the holder of the Philippine franchise of the popular reality television show “Survivor”, released the names and faces of the castaways for the show’s second season. Among those introduced were Filipino-Japanese model Sadatsugu Suzuki, who was featured here a year ago and who has made some rounds in personality searches and fashion ramps in the Metro. Apparently, this BS Criminology student of Emiligo Aguinaldo College has put his college education and modeling career to a temporary standstill to get nationwide exposure and fulfill his dream of becoming a star in the country.
During the shoot we had last year, what I noticed is this model’s adorable innocence and infectious happy disposition. He was very accommodating and easy to work with. Will his naturally positive outlook change when subjected to the harsh elements of Peleliu island in Palau? Or will his cheerfulness transcend the difficult conditions of the terrain? To answer these questions and more, I guess we just have to watch Survivor Philippines Season 2 as in premieres on GMA7 on August 17, 2009. Included in this batch of male castaways are notable personalities such as: Shaun Rodriguez, a young father and fitness aficionado; Vlad Nesas, a runway model; Marvin Kiefer, a host and commercial model who happens to be the younger brother of PMAP model Raphael Kiefer; and Cris “Jumbo” Bolado, a former basketball star. Also included in the batch are Troy Perez, Louie Ang and Charles Fernandez. Who will follow JC Tiuseco‘s footsteps this season and be declared the Second Pinoy Sole Survivor? I guess we just have to tune in to the show during weeknights in GMA7′s Telebabad block. |
