Late last year, reports circulated that Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus big winner Ejay Falcon has been having difficulty memorizing his lines giving his home network a hard time getting acting projects for him. Ejay was thus allowed to hone his acting skills elsewhere and he became part of the cast of ABC5′s teen drama “Lipgloss“. Well, it’s either “Lipgloss” is a good training ground for teen actors or Ejay’s acting coach worked double time in training him, but apparently, after his stint in the show, his acting skills improved. And now Ejay is, as they say “ripe for the picking”.

Noticing this development in the young actor’s thespian skills, his home network, ABS-CBN, has handpicked him to play a lead role opposite Star Circle Quest 2 grand questor Erich Gonzales in the latter’s launching soap opera “Katorse” with another young actor, Xian Lim, playing the third wheel. This acting vehicle, a television remake of a movie with the same name which was shown about twenty years ago, would serve as the litmus test if Ejay along with his co-stars have the acting chops to be regarded as the next great actors of their generation. “Katorse” airs this August 24 on ABS-CBN.
