Former Pinoy Dream Academy scholar Geoffrey Taylor finally clinches the crown to a major singing competition as he is declared the first ever male winner of GMA7’s “Are You The Next Big Star” in the show’s finale presentation last night. Following weeks of submitting himself to gruelling vocal competitions with equally talented young singers, Geoff proves to us that he has what it takes to make it big. Adjudged the female winner in the singing tilt is Las Pinas native Francheska Farr. Geoff and Francheska were each awarded with a recording deal from GMA records, an exclusive managing contract with GMA Artist Center, P1 million in cash, a condo unit, and P100,000 worth of clothes from Danny Tan and Pepsi Herrera. Early favorite Bulacan councilor Alex Castro had to settle for second place while former Search for the Star in a Million finalist Jay Perillo ended up in third place. |

oh my!my first time to learn to spend time watching the local celebrity…and my first time in my life to spend a portion of my load just to vote this geoff taylor…na starstruck ako…lalaking lalaki…breathless! keep up the good work…
