Andrew Lawrence de la Victoria Mackintosh was born 21 years ago to an Australian father and a Cebuana mother. He stayed in Manila during the first years of his life and completed his elementary education at International School Manila. Thereafter, he moved to Australia.

Andrew continued his secondary education at St. Joseph’s College Gregory Terrace in Brisbane. After finishing high school, he went to Queensland University of Technology to take up a double degree of Bachelor of Business major in Accountancy and Bachelor of Laws. At present, he is working as an accountant for the Australian branch of one of the biggest auditing firms in the world while in the process of finishing his law degree.

While on vacation in his mother’s native province of Cebu late last year, he ventured into modeling. He did rounds of ramp shows including the “Wear Your Dreams” and “Feng Shui fashion shows by Bench, Vudu 9th Anniversary fashion show – “Tribute to the late Alexander McQueen”, and the Ayala Active Zone Official Opening fashion show.

Andrew says that his studies always come first. He has been working in an audit firm since he was 19 while finishing law school to get his qualifications to become a CPA-Lawyer. However, he claimed that he will not say no to any modeling jobs should they come his way. “Who knows, I may even take some time off in the near future to pursue any modeling or related work,” he added.

Incidentally, Andrew is featured as one of Cosmopolitan Magazine’s Boys of Summer in the publication’s April 2010 issue (with Nicole Scherzinger on the cover).
