Anjo Yllana decided to re-enter politics by running for vice mayor in Paranaque this 2010. As a consequence, he had to give up hosting GMA7′s late Saturday evening show “Cool Center” which he co-hosted with comedienne Eugene Domingo. GMA7 decided to pull the plug on the show and conceptualized a new one which will take over the former’s slot. Thus, “Comedy Bar” was born.

One of the hosts tapped for the show is model Fabio Ide, who, along with Akihiro Sato and Daniel Matsunaga, is trying his luck in Philippine showbiz. Apparently, the Brazilian import wants to better his career by being more than just a fashion model. Therefore, after his acting debut in “D’ Survivors“, he now intends to make his mark as a host in GMA7′s newest show.

“Comedy Bar” will be a late night treat to those who enjoy a dose of comedy before dozing off to bed. Fabio will be hosting the show alongside veteran comedians Eugene Domingo and Allan K. It airs every Saturday at 10:45pm.
