Two TV commercials for Cobra Energy Drink are currently airing. The older TVC entitled “Surreal”, has for its lead Costa Rican model Cesar Vargas, whom I featured in an earlier post. The more recent one (where the lead battles horned beasts), meanwhile, features another foreign model also named Cesar – Cesar Curti.

Cesar Curti is a 23-year old model who, like Akihiro Sato, Fabio Ide and Daniel Matsunaga, is of Brazilian and Japanese descent. However, unlike the othe three, Cesar has a more diverse modeling portfolio. He has modeled in Los Angeles, Cape Town, Berlin and other fashion capitals. He has appeared in commercials for a wide array of products ranging from face creams to cameras, to cellphones, beers and cigarettes, which have been aired all around the world. Aside from television commercial appearances, he has graced the covers of Men’s Health Malaysia and Germany-based Mate magazine, among others.

In the Philippines, Cesar has done commercials for KFC, Coffeemate, Nestea Fit and Cobra Energy Drink. He has also walked the ramp in fashion shows for international and local fashion brands. Currently, Cesar is in Hong Kong to further expand his modeling portfolio.
