Lance Christopher has already appeared in commercials for Coca Cola, KFC and iCool Bubblegum, to name a few. But even before he became a face of these brands, he was launched by Star Magic as a part of its 16th Batch of showbiz hopefuls, together with Guji Lorenzana, Jubail (Alizon) Andres, Nico Ibaviosa and Enrique Gil. Now, close to two years after his launch into stardom, the handsome 19-year old will given the chance to not merely be an actor in a commercial, but be a lead in a new teen-oriented show. He is a part of ABS-CBN’s newest teen drama, “Gimik 2010″.

Gimik 2010, which will begin with a reunion of the original cast composed of Judy Ann Santos, Diether Ocampo, G Toengi, Mylene Dizon and Bojo Molina from the original “Gimik” show which aired 14 years ago, will tackle the lives of 12 individuals as they encounter problems faced by the teens of today. The fresh batch of actors from Gimik 2010 are Jessy Mendiola, Franco Daza, Kazuo Nawa, Jaco Benin, Kenji (Jiro) Shirakawa, Janeena Chan, Hanna Flores, Daniel Padilla, Albie Casino, Mara Montes, Marian Flores and of course, Lance. The show hits your television screens today, April 25, 2010 and will run for 10 weeks on ABS-CBN.
